Moveable Bridge
Inside Moveable Bridge
Submarine Cables
Toggle DetailsSubmarine Cables have cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) conductors and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for increased water resistance and mechanical strength. They are installed underwater in trenches or in conduit and can be sued for all types of bridges.
- Meet all requirements for bascule, lift and swing bridges
- Holds up to 250 copper or fiber conductors
- Built-in conduit perfect for future growth
- Can be direct buried
Aerial Cables
Toggle DetailsAerial cables have a steel rope along the outer jacket and helically wrapped steel tape for increased strength. They are meant to be laid horizontally in the air between towers on vertical lift bridges.
- Meet all requirements for bascule, lift and swing bridges
- Holds up to 125 copper or fiber conductors
- Built-in conduit is available
- Lashed stainless steel messenger wire
Riser Cables
Toggle DetailsRiser cables are designed to be installed vertically to bring power from the electrical source on the ground to the top of vertical lift bridges where they can power the raising mechanism directly or be connected to droop cables or aerial cables for their purposes.
- Meet all requirements for bascule, lift and swing bridges
- Holds up to 125 copper or fiber conductors
- Built-in conduit is available
- LDPE jacketing
Droop Cables
Toggle DetailsDroop cables are designed to be flexible enough to bend and move as the bridge rises up a vertical lift bridge. This cable is used especially for bridges which are raised using a pinion system. The cable droops down from the top of the tower and rises with the span as it is raised.
- Meet all requirements for bascule, lift and swing bridges
- Holds up to 125 copper or fiber conductors
- Built-in conduit is available
- Rubber jacketing
